FAO-ECTAD Unit for North Africa

The FAO-ECTAD Unit for North Africa has been in action in Tunis since May 2007. The FAO-ECTAD aims to provide a framework in order to coordinate and harmonize strategies for monitoring and evaluating activities for the control of animal diseases in the region, including zoonoses and Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in particular.
